Hmmm...just wanna share with you all about this passage I read when I was doing my devotion
Jana was hurting and her friend Emily was the cause. Where is she? Jana wondered as she called her friend, who lived in another state. She wasn't home, so Jana left a voice-mail.
Over the next week, Jana learned the truth from a few people in the know. The reason Emily hadn't shown up for their mini-vacation was that she had received a "better offer."
Someone had proposed something that sounded more interesting.
This made the pain even worse. Jana called again. But Emily wasn't there, so she left another voice-mail. The return call didn't come. This went on for months.
Then, just days before she knew she was going to see Jana at a party, Emily called. The guilt that had kept her silent for so long was apparent in her quavering voice.
When I talked to Jana about this situation, it reminded me of my own guilt. How many times had I gone silent because I knew I had hurt a friend?
Adam and Eve did the same thing with God. They had eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, something God had prohibited (Genesis 2:17), and they were filled with guilt.
After their disobedient act, Adam and Eve heard God walking in the Garden. But instead of coming out and experiencing sweet fellowship, they continued suffering in silence. God called to them with three simple words: " Where are you?" (Genesis 3:9)

Many things just came into my thoughts as I read this...I asked myself did I keep silent when I knew I had hurt a friend? or have I forgive those who hurts me before and never say sorry (or they din even know it hurts me)
It can be words or actions..etc.. that hurts our feelings... I always remind my youths and myself too that we must becareful with our mouth..the words we speak out must bring blessings to others...not words that hurts others feelings...well..sometimes we din even know that the words we speak out hurts our friends feelings...so we need to ask God to help us speaks wisely...gives us the sensitivity...If u knew that you had hurt someone,take the 1st step to say you are sorry...
Do you have a friend who's trying to reach you? Are you avoiding him or her? Giving him or her the silent treatment because of your own guilt? Friends....it's time to open up and confess your sin...stop the silence and start healing...make phone call or send e-mail...start the healing of a relationship that is strained and desperately needs a dose of God's love =)
